Reception Class admissions for September 2026

Thank you for considering Greenvale Primary School as a school you would like your child to attend from September 2026.

We are a small one-from-of-entry Primary School based on the outskirts of Croydon.  We pride ourselves on our strong school values and family like atmosphere that is well regarded in the local community.

There are 30 places available for the September 2026 intake.

Reception Admissions September 2026

Our tour dates will be added in September 2025.  Please check again then.

A member of the Senior Leadership Team, along with Year 6 Prefects will conduct the tour which will last around 20 minutes.  Each tour has a limited number of spaces available.  Please note that we will shortly be uploading a video to this page. Please watch the video before coming along to the tour as there will be an opportunity at the end of the tour to ask any questions you may have.

Children join Reception at the beginning of the academic year (1st September – 31st August) in which they will be five.  Parents of children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 are applying to start primary school in September 2026.

Applications

All applications must be made to the local authority.  Croydon Local Authority online at www.eadmissions.org.uk.        The closing date for primary school applications is TBC. If your application is made after the closing date of TBC January 2026, it will be treated as late.  Please consult the admissions website here for further information with regards to the process after this date.
