School Uniform

Wearing the correct school uniform is an important aspect of being a student at our school. The school uniform helps to create a sense of unity and pride among students, as well as promoting a professional and respectful image of the school to the wider community. When students wear the correct uniform, it also helps to create a sense of equality and fairness among all students, regardless of their background or family circumstances.

In addition, wearing a uniform can also help students to focus on their learning and minimize distractions. It also fosters a sense of discipline, responsibility and respect. Furthermore, having a uniform makes it easier for students to prepare for school each day, as they do not have to worry about what to wear, which can be a source of stress.

Wearing the correct school uniform is a simple but important way for students to show respect for themselves, their school, and their fellow students. By taking pride in their appearance, students are also showing respect for the school community and the educational opportunities that the school provides. We expect all students to wear the correct school uniform at all times when they are on school premises or representing the school.

At Greenvale we insist on a high standard of personal appearance and ask parents for co-operation in maintaining such standards.  Children are not allowed to wear jewellery to school.  If your child has pierced ears, ear studs may be worn but it they should be removed on days the class are doing PE or swimming.
