School Uniform
Wearing the correct school uniform is an important aspect of being a student at our school. The school uniform helps to create a sense of unity and pride among students, as well as promoting a professional and respectful image of the school to the wider community. We expect all students to wear the correct school uniform at all times when they are on school premises or representing the school. When students wear the correct uniform, it also helps to create a sense of equality and fairness among all students, regardless of their background or family circumstances.
In addition, wearing a uniform can also help students to focus on their learning and minimize distractions. It also fosters a sense of discipline, responsibility and respect. Furthermore, having a uniform makes it easier for students to prepare for school each day, as they do not have to worry about what to wear, which can be a source of stress.
At Greenvale we insist on a high standard of personal appearance and ask parents for co-operation in maintaining such standards. Children are not allowed to wear jewellery to school. If your child has pierced ears, ear studs may be worn but they should be removed on days the class are doing PE or swimming.

Second Hand Uniform Shop
We also have a Greenvale Second Hand Uniform Shop. The environmental and economic impact of the second-hand uniform shop is important to Greenvale. While reducing waste and increasing affordability, parents and carers can purchase excellent condition items (new and pre-loved) as well as coats, shoes, Christmas jumpers, costumes for World Book Day/theme days and Greenvale water bottles. It is run on a voluntary basis. Parents and carers donate unwanted school uniform items, and all the sales’ proceeds go directly to the school.
Parents and carers can check available stock here and either pop to the shop or place an order by email to greenvaleuniform@gmail.com. Orders can be collected from the shop or school porch.
